Acrylic & Mixed Media
Dayna loves the many choices she has when working in acrylic and mixed media. Besides using water-based acrylic paint that dries quickly, introducing mixed media into her pieces creates exciting interest and endless possibilities. Mixed media elements include such things as plaster, collage (newpaper, old letters, postage stamps, ephemera, magazine images, discarded book parts, etc.), oil pastels, charcoal, crayons, pencil marks and drawings, embedded 3D elements, fabric, photographs, inks, metal, tissue paper, pretty much anything you can think of is fair game, and Dayna enjoys pushing those possibilities.
